Centrally
located in North Carolina, the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen
Area enjoys easy access by auto from Interstates 95, 85, 40, and
73/74 (partially completed), and has direct access to US 1, US
15-501, NC 2, NC 5 and NC 211. The Moore County Airport (SOP) can handle private aircraft up to
BAC III. Other area airports within 100 miles include Fayetteville,
Raleigh/Durham, Greensboro, and Charlotte. Finally, by train,
AMTRAK provides daily service directly to and from the area.
