Voted “Best Authentic Tavern” and hidden among the tall pines of Pinehurst is the storied American tavern, Drum & Quill. The drum represents famous golf writer Bob Drum, and Quill represents the pen that he used to immortalize Arnold Palmer as they founded Golf’s Pro Grand Slam Address. The tavern features the oldest drink counter from the old Pinehurst Pharmacy and a 200-year-old judge's chamber behind the bar.
