The Pinehurst, Southern Pines, and Aberdeen area is the perfect place for a vintage shopping weekend! Come along as we take you to some of our favorite spots around the Sandhills to hunt for unique finds and hidden treasures.
First up is The Bee’s Knees Antique & Thrift, offering a great selection of antique and vintage items. They also host a community yard sale once a month. Next, we stopped by Medleyanna’s! The Warehouse. This one is only open once a month and it is jam-packed with amazing finds.
If you’re looking for vintage mixed with handmade and brand-new décor pieces, head to Carthage and stop by Eliza Quinn Creates. Just a few doors down is Sweet Eva Jane’s. In addition to vintage pieces, they also offer craft classes, which look like so much fun. Check out the Tyson Sinclair building for fabulous at Love You More and The Market 107 finds at Just down the street is Practical POSH, offering a fantastic collection of everything from cups to couches.
The Cameron Antiques Fair happens twice a year in the spring (May) and the fall (October), so plan to join this fun event – people come from miles around to explore all the wares. But, if you are in Cameron over a non-fair weekend, one of our favorite vintage shops in Cameron is Old Hardware Antiques. They have a really beautiful collection and it’s possible to spend hours here. Ann’s Antiques is another fun stop in Cameron.
Head down to Southern Pines and you will find Rusty Pelican Junktique with an eclectic mix of junkin’ and boutique finds – there’s something for everyone! Aberdeen has the Flirty Birdie Vintage and Twigg & Co.; both places offer unique fun finds! Last, but certainly not least, you have to visit the Design Market of the Pines in Aberdeen. With 40,000 square feet of vintage, refinished, and new consignment items, this place is a vintage lover’s dream.
