Tourism-related events in Moore County, as well as select events outside the county (at the discretion of the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB), may be listed for free in the Calendar of Events. Only events deemed by the CVB to be of interest to visitors to Moore County will be included. The CVB reserves the right to determine eligibility for inclusion on HomeofGolf.com, prioritizing events likely to generate overnight lodging stays. The website is not intended to function as a community calendar for events primarily geared toward local residents.

The Trolley Tailgate Throwdown

It’s the night before the Big Game — and the Sandhills Trolley is ready to roll out an epic pre-game showdown! 

Grab your crew, throw on your team colors, and bring that big game energy as we hit the streets of the Pines for a rolling tailgate packed with competition, music, and team pride.

We’ll make bar stops loaded with drink specials, tailgate games, and DJ beats to keep the adrenaline pumping. The challenge? Show up, show out, and prove which team’s fans rule the trolley. The loudest, proudest crew might just take home the Trolley Trophy! 

Dress Code: Jerseys, face paint, foam fingers — full fan mode.

Vibe: High energy, bold spirit, and non-stop pre-game fun.

Whether you bleed red, blue, or just believe in the power of a good tailgate, this is your night to go all in before the Big Game.
