Tourism-related events in Moore County, as well as select events outside the county (at the discretion of the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB), may be listed for free in the Calendar of Events. Only events deemed by the CVB to be of interest to visitors to Moore County will be included. The CVB reserves the right to determine eligibility for inclusion on HomeofGolf.com, prioritizing events likely to generate overnight lodging stays. The website is not intended to function as a community calendar for events primarily geared toward local residents.

Instructors Demonstration Day and Class Registration Event

Sunday, January 11, 2:00-4:00 

Start the new year off by taking an inspiring art class or workshop. On January 11, visit the League and watch our instructors as they demonstrate the various mediums that they will be teaching – then register for the classes that interest you.

There will be preview demonstrations and information about classes in Drawing, Pastel, Colored Pencil, Oil, Cold Wax, Watercolor, Gouache, Silkscreen, Acrylic, Fluid Acrylic Pouring, Alcohol Ink, Mixed Medium, Fiber Art, and Collage. Learn something new, advance your current skills, and discover the benefits and discounts of a League membership.

The exhibition of our instructors’ paintings will be hanging in our gallery and will remain up through January 30. Join us for a fun afternoon and enjoy light refreshments.
