Tourism-related events in Moore County, as well as select events outside the county (at the discretion of the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB), may be listed for free in the Calendar of Events. Only events deemed by the CVB to be of interest to visitors to Moore County will be included. The CVB reserves the right to determine eligibility for inclusion on HomeofGolf.com, prioritizing events likely to generate overnight lodging stays. The website is not intended to function as a community calendar for events primarily geared toward local residents.

Join us for a special behind-the-scenes event as Dr. Julia Hans shares the fascinating story behind her book, Hidden History of Pinehurst. In an engaging talk, she’ll reveal what inspired her to write it, the biggest challenges she encountered during her research and writing journey, and why the book has resonated so deeply with readers. The event will conclude with a live Q&A, where guests will have the opportunity to ask Dr. Hans their own questions about the book, her discoveries, and the hidden history of Pinehurst.
Doors open at 4:15 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served.
Autographed copies of the book will be available for purchase.
