Tourism-related events in Moore County, as well as select events outside the county (at the discretion of the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB), may be listed for free in the Calendar of Events. Only events deemed by the CVB to be of interest to visitors to Moore County will be included. The CVB reserves the right to determine eligibility for inclusion on HomeofGolf.com, prioritizing events likely to generate overnight lodging stays. The website is not intended to function as a community calendar for events primarily geared toward local residents.

The Arts Council of Moore County presents Friday Night Jazz at the Sunrise!

Join us for a special, intimate new series of jazz at the Sunrise featuring the renowned vocalist, songwriter and genre-bending performer Carrie Marshall.

The CMQ will bring audiences on a jazzy ride from the Golden Era of Hollywood (Part 1: Jan 30, 2026) to the jazzy blues, folk and soul of the 60s and 70s (Part 2: March 13, 2026) into modern day pop classics with a twist (April 24, 2026)

A Southern Shade of Blue: Songs, Stories and Soul is a journey through the songs of the 60s and 70s that shaped future generations – all with jazzy blues, folk & soul-drenched Americana. Featuring songs from Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, James Taylor, John Denver, The Rooftop Singers, Tennessee Ernest Ford and MORE!

General Admission: $34.50

VIP Admission: $69.50 – includes early access (5pm) to the VIP lounge and unlimited drinks and hors d’oeuvres)
