Calendar Guidelines:
Tourism-related events in Moore County, as well as select events outside the county (at the discretion of the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB), may be listed for free in the Calendar of Events. Only events deemed by the CVB to be of interest to visitors to Moore County will be included. The CVB reserves the right to determine eligibility for inclusion on HomeofGolf.com, prioritizing events likely to generate overnight lodging stays. The website is not intended to function as a community calendar for events primarily geared toward local residents.
If your event meets the guidelines above and you’d like to add it to our Calendar of Events, please email [email protected].

Make Christmas Ornaments from Dried Flowers at LB’s Farm
October 20, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Sunday Oct, 20 ( Morning10-12) and (afternoon 2-4)
For the 2024 Ag & Art Tour, LB’s Farm is holding a dried flower workshop. During your visit you will get a tour of our gardens and learn how we grow and process flowers for market. This will be followed by hands-on ornament making using dried flowers from our farm. Each guest will have the chance to make up to three ornaments that you can hang on your Christmas three or gift to a loved one. Refreshments will be served and you will also get an exclusive look at CARO’s Art Studio located right here. So, join us for a few hours of crafting and talking flowers in the country side at LB’s Farm.
LB’s Farm is a working market farm located in Cameron, NC. As such we would like to take the time to caution you of a few obvious hazards. First, our driveway. It is a half mile long unimproved road. Please drive at a modest speed. This will not be the day to see how fast you can take the 4×4 down a dirt road. Also, we suggest you wear comfortable shoes and clothes appropriate for an outdoor setting. As much as we would love to have our yard look as pretty as Pinehurst #2, it’s just not quite there. The ground is uneven and has a few stumps and exposed roots. Please consider all fences electrified and do not climb on any of the equipment. We are looking forward to your visit and hope to provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience.
