Tourism-related events in Moore County, as well as select events outside the county (at the discretion of the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB), may be listed for free in the Calendar of Events. Only events deemed by the CVB to be of interest to visitors to Moore County will be included. The CVB reserves the right to determine eligibility for inclusion on HomeofGolf.com, prioritizing events likely to generate overnight lodging stays. The website is not intended to function as a community calendar for events primarily geared toward local residents.

Peach Week 5k Fun Run to benefit FirstHealth Cancer CARE Fund.

Established in 2000, the Cancer CARE Fund was the first of The Foundation of FirstHealth’s Community CARE (Clinical, Advocacy, Resources and Education) Funds. Since it’s inception, over 2.8 million dollars has been dispersed to cover the vital needs of cancer patients. Every dollar counts.

100% of the proceeds from this race will go directly to helping our community members navigate cancer needs.

Cost for this race: $25 for adults and $5 for children 13 and under.

Courtesy of the CVB and partners, you will receive: Ice cream from Stellar Scoops, healthy snack, water bottle, sticker and additional giveaways.

Prizes: There will be a ribbon awarded for the top:

  • Male and Female Winners over 14
  • Male and Female Winners 9-13
  • Male and Female Winners 8 & under
  • Best Dressed in Peach style Male & Female

Enjoy this walk/run along a 5k trail with modest inclines circling the Pinehurst community among the beautiful longleaf pines and community. This trail is gravel and pavement. Strollers are welcome. Please only service animals.
