Calendar Guidelines:

Tourism-related events in Moore County, as well as select events outside the county (at the discretion of the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB), may be listed for free in the Calendar of Events. Only events deemed by the CVB to be of interest to visitors to Moore County will be included. The CVB reserves the right to determine eligibility for inclusion on HomeofGolf.com, prioritizing events likely to generate overnight lodging stays. The website is not intended to function as a community calendar for events primarily geared toward local residents.

Tea with Seagrove Potters

Seagrove Pottery

Sample teas and pastries while perusing the latest pots designed for serving tea at Blue Hen, Eck McCanless, Dean and Martin, From the Ground Up, Red Hare and Thomas potteries. Free event. 

Six Seagrove pottery shops are inviting the public to join them for Tea with Seagrove Potters. Participating shops have partnered with Carriage House Tea of Asheboro, The Table, also of Asheboro and Seagrove Cafe to create a fun-filled day of shopping and tea tasting.

On March 14, 10am – 5pm, Blue Hen, Eck McCanless, Dean and Martin, From the Ground Up, Red Hare and Thomas potteries welcome visitors to Tea with Seagrove Potters.

Each shop will feature hot tea from Carriage House Tea, and pastries from the Table and Seagrove Cafe, as well as homemade treats for visitors to sample.

See the latest wares from the kilns, visit with the potters, and learn about how they use their wares to bake, brew, cook, serve and decorate. Shops are located along Pottery Highway NC 705 and adjacent roads.

This is a free event and open to all ages. Each shop has its own unique style of pottery and will feature different items. Visitors can expect a large selection of teapots, teacups, tumblers, pitchers and other serving ware, along with decorative pieces.
