Calendar Guidelines:
Tourism-related events in Moore County, as well as select events outside the county (at the discretion of the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB), may be listed for free in the Calendar of Events. Only events deemed by the CVB to be of interest to visitors to Moore County will be included. The CVB reserves the right to determine eligibility for inclusion on HomeofGolf.com, prioritizing events likely to generate overnight lodging stays. The website is not intended to function as a community calendar for events primarily geared toward local residents.

Third Thursdays – A Laid-Back, Summer Music Event
July 17 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Hosted by the Town of Aberdeen’s Downtown Aberdeen Advisory Board and Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway in the heart of Historic Downtown Aberdeen every “Third Thursday” of the summer months (June – September) from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the greenspace at 120 S. Sycamore St.
This series features live music, engaging family-friendly activities, the Social District, and a relaxing atmosphere that welcomes all ages.
Dates for the event are:
– July 17 – Terminally Chill
– August 21 – Dueling Pianos International
– September 18th – DJ Night! Terminally Chill
Bring blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy some music in the greenspace.
***No outside alcohol permitted. Social District beverages only.***
