Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen and towns across Moore County are ready to celebrate the nation’s birthday with a bang! The long Fourth of July weekend is perfect for spending time with friends and family and we’ve got the details on everything you need to know for celebrating in the North Carolina Sandhills.
Freedom Fest 2023
FRIDAY, JUNE 30, 2023 AT 6 PM
Fireworks on the First: Town of Robbins
Celebrate this Independence Day in Robbins NC! Featuring the sand band on stage @ 7pm and the flying hatchet mobile axe throwing-free throws! Food trucks line up at 6pm including mas-a-Filipino, taco Jesus, Baja hot dogs, stellar scoops, sunset slush, and high-country kettle corn. Bring the kids to listen to music and have their faces painted! Fireworks begin around 9:15

SPARKLE & CELEBRATE @ The NAV
We’re celebrating America big time at the NAV! Join us July 1st for our annual Freedom Celebration featuring live music, food trucks and an incredible fireworks display.
We have family, individual, and child tickets available; please make sure to select the correct ticket before purchasing.
Children ages 3 and under do not require a ticket to attend Freedom Celebration.
Independence Day Cornhole at Hatchet Brewing
Join Hatchet Brewing Company for their first annual Independence Day Cornhole Tournament! The cost is $40 per team play in a 32-team single elimination cornhole tournament. There will be four games going on at a time in 30-minute intervals. There will be a food truck on site, live music to enjoy and a bouncy house for the kids to join in on game day! Fourth of July Parade: Town of Carthage
Join us for the 2023 Carthage / Rotary 4th of July Parade – Tuesday, July 4th, 2023 All are invited for the annual Carthage 4th of July Parade! The event is hosted by the Rotary Club. Join in the celebration and fun. The Parade will start on Monroe Street and continue up 24/27 towards the old courthouse.

Celebrate Independence Day with an evening of live entertainment and a variety of food vendors! Grab your blankets and lawn chairs, and bring family and friends to enjoy one of the largest and most exciting fireworks displays in the area! Pets, alcoholic beverages, personal fireworks, and coolers are not allowed.
