Discover The Path To Pinehurst’s Past
There is perhaps no better way to explore the Village of Pinehurst than the way its visitors and residents did over a century ago – on foot.
Today, 32 of the original 38 cottages that were built in the late 1800s line the streets of this quaint village, a National Historic Landmark. And with the help of the “Village of Pinehurst: A Historic Walking Tour” book, you can follow four carefully planned walking tours, discover details about the homes and other historic buildings, see original photos and learn about the first owners of these beautiful cottages.
Delve into the Village of Pinehurst’s illustrious past, and purchase your copy of the book at the CVB in downtown Southern Pines (155 W. New York Ave., Suite 300) or at the Tufts Archives in Pinehurst, across the street from the Holly Inn and adjacent to Tufts Memorial Park in the heart of the Village.
