Shady Maple Farm

Hi! I’m Jennifer. I grew up right here in Carthage, NC – nearby the golf capital of Pinehurst. My summers were spent mowing greens and fairways on local golf courses, where my passion for the outdoors and working in the dirt blossomed. This passion ultimately led to a degree in agronomy from NC State University (go Pack!) with a special interest in environmental stewardship. My husband and I made the decision to follow our love for the outdoors, and simpler times, by putting our roots down on our own farm – which has led to my flower farm dreams coming true. I’m so excited for this new journey in all things floriculture and I hope you’ll come along with me.

Seasonal blooms are available at our Flower Stand located at Shady Maple Farm!

We will also be at the Carthage Farmers Market, located at 203 McReynolds Street, Carthage on Fridays from 2pm to 6pm. Seasonally: Early Spring-Fall.
