Tourism-related events in Moore County, as well as select events outside the county (at the discretion of the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB), may be listed for free in the Calendar of Events. Only events deemed by the CVB to be of interest to visitors to Moore County will be included. The CVB reserves the right to determine eligibility for inclusion on HomeofGolf.com, prioritizing events likely to generate overnight lodging stays. The website is not intended to function as a community calendar for events primarily geared toward local residents.

Make your very own Fused Glass Floral Suncatcher!
Join Wayne Manning on Thurs., Feb. 15th at 6:00 to make a hanging Fused Glass Flower Sun Catcher in the design and colors of your choice!
Wayne will teach you how to cut your glass pieces and help you with ideas and composition. You will have a lot of color choices to make a masterpiece your very own!
Allow 2 weeks for your piece to be “fused” in a kiln and finished for pick-up.
Wayne is a Glass Artist who lives in Vass, NC and teaches at a local school. His passion is glass blowing and he plans to share his passion in future ARTworks Vass classes. You can find Wayne’s blown glass hearts, stars and starfish, pumpkins, everyday and Christmas ornaments in the gallery.
Other Important Information:
Only those who have registered may participate.
Bring an apron if you wish.
Class starts promptly, so be sure to arrive on time.
Registrations are non-refundable.
